The problem

Most résumé effort goes into rewriting the same bullet points until they read like impact — and into fighting formatting. ResumeX makes both a conversation.

What I built

  • MERN app: Vite + React + Ant Design front end, Express + MongoDB API with JWT auth
  • PDF and DOCX parsing to import an existing résumé
  • Google Gemini integration for AI bullet rewriting and a résumé-aware chatbot
  • Nine switchable résumé templates

Outcome

  • Deployed and live on Vercel
  • Built for CSE299 (Junior Design)
